Students work with the Manteo Lions Club on different service activities during the year. The attend the VIP Fishing Tournament in October and help the visually impaired fish off of the local fishing piers.

Join Mathletes if you have a love for math, problem solving, or even just tutoring and helping other students understand math more completely. We prepare for Math contest trips to Chowan University and Elizabeth City State University, organize tutoring opportunities, and enjoy guest speakers who can help us explore careers in Mathematics.
We will me every other Friday during IT (1st and 3rd Fridays of the month for the most part)

Ocean Science Bowl club is for students that are interested in ocean science and want to prepare for ocean science-related and other STEM careers, as well as learning how to knowledgeable citizens and environmental stewards.
Meetings will be on Tuesdays after school starting in mid October.

The aim of the photography club is to share a passion of photography through the constructive criticism of our peers, leisure activities that involve photography, and the promotion of photography throughout the Manteo High School campus.

SEAC is the Student Environmental Awareness Coalition. We conduct regular highway clean ups on our adopted portion of Hwy 64 and we often help with the Town of Manteo clean ups too. Our club is against drilling off our shores, and has been actively involved in opposition to this movement.

Stage Left is the theatre company at Manteo High School. It is open to actors, techies, and theatre lovers. We meet about once a month, always have a float in the Homecoming Parade, and try to have other social events. Basically, we are interested in the fine arts and appreciate all types of creative expression.
